Invitation
Quantitative Infrared Thermography (QIRT) conference is a biannual international conference, in which Infrared Thermography (IRT) specialists from industries and academia discusses and present their current interests and novel developments. Since 1992, QIRT conferences have been held in Paris (1992), Sorrento (1994), Stuttgart (1996), Lodz (1998), Reims (2000), Dubrovnik (2002), Brussels (2004), Padova (2006), Krakow (2008), Quebec City (2010), Naples (2012), Bordeaux (2014), Gdansk (2016) and Berlin (2018). As IRT technology gathers growing interest and the number of participants from Asia has been increased, QIRT council has started a sister conference series called QIRT-Asia since 2015, held in Mahabalipuram (2015) and Daejeon (2017).
Message from the chair It is my proud privilege to welcome all invitees and participants to the third Quantitative Infrared Thermography Asian Conference (QIRT-Asia 2019) from July 1-5, 2019 at Tokyo, Japan. With increasing popularity and usage, the field of Infrared Thermography has seen widespread growth in its applications. It has turned into a truly inter- and multi-disciplinary area of research and development. I am sure the days of gathering to present, share and discuss, this rapidly evolving research field, would enrich you in the ambiance of Tokyo. We look forward to seeing you in Tokyo.
In addition to the main program one-day short courses on Monday, 1 July 2019, taking place in the collaboration room in Bldg. West 9 at Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), will be conducted. All are welcomed to attend this course free of charge.
